Even with a clean install, at boot up, unless Win2k is in safe mode, is scans the cdrom and cdreader for about 4 minutes (I can see the lights go on and off on the drives) and then is unable to detect them. I downloaded the latest Geforce2 Ti drivers from the Nvidea website and have had to uninstall them since downloading SP1 unless I want to use Safe Mode all the time. Tried re installing the original drivers from my Winfast CD rom..no joy. Installed Nvidea detonator drivers from aC rom no joy.

I kept getting error message "Install VGA Drivers First" and sometimes a file could not be copied. I did something like this: 1. Start XP in Safe Mode by holding F8 key at boot start. 2. Do the keyboard and mouse work in Safe mode? If they work, the problem should be caused by the drivers that are loaded in normal mode but not in safe mode.
